Who?
Imagine
if you will a powerfully familiar alien sound that
grabs you where it feels good and takes you places
that you never knew existed. Something brand new yet
as familiar as your favorite pair of shoes.
"High Energy" falls short of describing
the VVSmith experience. Powerful, Passionate, Fun,
Exciting, Understandable, Relatable, On the Mark,
and Controlled Explosiveness come close but still
no cigar. VVSmith's original music is a new high energy
version of Alternative Country filled with great guitar
work, feel good music and home hitting lyrics that
leave you wanting more. Think of Big and Rich meeting
Stevie Ray Vaughn in a restaurant for a dish of Toby
Keith sprinkled over Joe Walsh with a fillet of ZZ
Top wrapped in a Lynyrd Skynyrd casserole and topped
off with a healthy portion of Soul. Add layers of
dynamics, sing along hooks, big grooves and relatable
lyrics and you've got yourself an entree of VVSmith.
VVSmith is formed with professional musicians that
have many combined years in the entertainment industry.
Members have played in bands such as David Allen Coe,
Noise Records/RMG recording artists: Wicked Angel,
The Godz, Space Cowboys and EZ Thrill. While with
various bands VV has played shows from moderate sized
venues to 20,000+ seat arenas and has appeared in
many International magazines and radio stations as
well as European MTV.

Side to Music
There’s no hiding the sexy smile beneath
this cowboy’s hat, and when you listen to VV
Smith’s songs, you just know you are witnessing
another rock star in the making! VV Smith leads us
like a true rock guru, but crosses with his own sound
of ‘country’. Deb’s vocals blend
in behind, a nice and smooth sultry tone, just a pinch
of Stevie Nicks while holding onto her own style!
Unreal percussion, all in the right place…”Thunderbolt”
had struck a chord with me, but whoah, what’s
that I can hear?? Sounds like Collective Soul just
stepped in for a jam! Boston’s guitars definitely;
“Not Far From Heaven” The track; "I’m
Alive” and many others remind us we’re
alive AND really kicking.

It' Showtime with V.V.Smith
is a skit comedy TV show in the vein
of "Saturday Night Live" gone family friendly.
It will also showcase local Columbus, OH talent. The
shooting of the pilot for the TV show will take place
later in the summer and will showcase three local
acts. Stay tunes for venues and tickets!
